OHSAS 18001:2007

OHSAS 18001:2007 A brief overview from Ormston Associates Limited.

An Internationally accepted specification that defines the requirements for establishing, implementing and operating an Occupation Health and Safety Management System.

The specification was developed with the assistance of a number of International Standards Bodies, and Certification Bodies. Therefore, OHSAS 18001:2007 fills a void, in that there is currently no International ISO Standard suitable for independent third-party certification.

OHSAS 18001:2007 was designed to be compatible with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001:2004. This will be helpful if you want to design, implement and operate an integrated quality, environmental and occupational Health and Safety Management System.
